The Kitchen of the Future

It’s always neat to see what people are describing as the car of the future, the airplane of the future, or even the park of the future.   Reading through Dwell magazine, I came across an article on kitchens of the future.  Alberto Colonello for Boffi was one of the designers mentioned.  His On/Off Monoblock kitchen is one of the most contemporary kitchens I have come across. With just the push of a button, every cabinet closes and the entire facade of the kitchen is covered. I don’t think I’ll be updated my kitchen to look like this anytime soon… but it’s always cool to see where technology might be taking us.
