Making Garlic and Sapphires into a movie

Garlic and Sapphires by Ruth Reichl is one of my favorite books and will soon be made into a feature film, starring Anne Hathaway.  Ruth Reichl, former editor of the New York Times dining section and Gourmet magazine, takes you through her adventures as a food critic in disguise.  This book is delightful and a great read for anyone who looks forward to the Wednesday food section like a kid looks forward to Christmas!

I don’t know how I feel about Anne Hathaway playing the part of Ruth, though…we’ll just have to see how this turns out.
